I adore Kurt Jackson. His paintings are how I see. And they are so beautiful. When I'm out in the English countryside I sometimes just don't take photos because they don't look as beautiful as real life. This is what real life looks like to me.

Oh! I loved The Light Princess! I laughed, I cried, I could watch it again tonight if I could afford it. It's beautiful.
The sets are stunning, the singing, the dancing...I'm still smiling.
It's a fairy tale musical involving a princess that floats and a prince that never smiles.
The floating is amazing, some of it is with wires and some is sort of dancing, with sneaky people dressed in black lifting her and supporting her while she sings.
I love fairy tales anyway and this didn't disappoint. Beautiful with darkness and humour.
Also, by chance, we happened to have attended on the night of the National Theatre's 50th anniversary so there were stunning fireworks afterwards.

I like glass bottles because plastic ones get a smell, however much you wash them. And there's the chemicals leeching into your drink thing. And the recycling thing. But mainly.....it just feels nicer to drink from glass. Anyway, I used to reuse glass drinks bottles like Snapple or fancy water, but the metal lids always started rusting! Here is my solution! A retap glass bottle with a silicone lid. It's just the right size, my water tastes delicious and it even looks quite nice.
Although digestives and pink wafers are strong contenders. I'm torn. Also, does shortbread count as ordinary biscuit or is it fancy biscuit?

So readily available at every vending machine that dotted every street. So refreshing and delicious. I got this treat at Little Orient, which I discovered today in the Elephant and Castle mall.
It was a pleasant surprise to see this building I've been seeing being built has had a giant picture put on the side.
It has been over ten years since I last made clothing from a pattern....but I felt an urge. This could go so horribly wrong and lead to tears of rage and frustration. I do hope it leads to lots of lovely dresses though!
My colleague gave me a totoro pen pot. It brightens my desk and has lovely squeezy paws.
