I can't believe I stopped for so long!

I got so caught up with wedding planning and life that I just stopped blogging. I still can't believe I'm married now...people keep asking how it feels, it feels the same, but with rings and and extra underglow of happiness :D Yay.

1000 origami cranes

So, this is what I've been doing lately, with the help of my paper team. We decided to make 1000 cranes to decorate the wedding venue! All white, using scrap paper. These are folded from old uni work! If you fold 1000 you are supposed to be granted a wish...so we thought it would be lovely to do for our marriage, and look very pretty.

Over a thousand are folded now...it was fun. I'm not looking forward to putting them on strings though!

My lovely friend Monika takes stunning photos and I'm very lucky that she has agreed to photograph my wedding :) She has a knack for composition and colour and capturing people looking natural and beautiful. Her photos are only up on facebook I believe...but hopefully she will have a public gallery soon...

I've not posted much lately, partially due to extreme engagement excitement. All I'm really thinking is wedding right now....so my posts will be a bit wedding themed for a bit.

It's going to be in autumn amidst fallen leaves! :D Reception is in a pub with a hog roast, and as you see from my little mood board, primary colours and jamjars galore!

I'm very much looking forward to decorating the pub and making all these bit and pieces. It's going to involve a lot of paper, cutting, folding and ribbon!

I'm also making my own dress but I guess I won't put any pictures up of that in case Stu looks :)
